Leitz Tooling ThermoTech Window System seminars sell out – new date for Bristol announced

With companies looking to diversify, keep up-to-date with regulations and seek a competitive advantage, Leitz has already had full houses for its series of seminars on ‘Thermal window production to proposed new building regulation standards for 2013’.

Leitz will now be bringing its one-day seminar to Bristol on the 12th June at the Didac Training Centre.

Leitz Tooling UK has launched Leitz ThermoTech Window System; a complete, compliant and scalable system which enables any size joinery company to manufacture ‘A’ rated thermal storm-proof, flush casement and traditional wood windows.  The company has already held one-day seminars at the Building Crafts College in East London and Leeds College of Building on ‘Thermal window production to proposed new building regulation standards for 2013’. The seminars were accredited by the BWF’s new woodworking CPD programme and Leitz had a full house for both events.

At Bristol on 12th June, British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) registered simulator Richard Jacob will present Leitz’s ThermoTech Window System and the one-day seminar will include presentations from the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) with an update on the proposed building regulations for 2013, along with machinery manufacturer Advanced Machinery Services (AMS), leading software supplier to the bespoke joinery market Joinerysoft, Accsys Technologies on Accoya Wood and Teknos Coatings. Practical demonstrations will be held in the afternoon.

Brian Maddox, sales manager for Leitz Tooling UK, said “The success of these seminars show that companies want to keep on top of changing regulations and particularly when times are as tough as they are now, they are looking for a competitive edge, which we can help provide.”

The features and benefits of the ThermoTech Window System mean that all design U values of the timber windows are 1.4 or better, the designs are expandable for different hinges and the profiles on the system are easily changed, without needing to purchase extra tools. The system is available in multi-tool or dedicated sets for spindle moulders, tenoners, CNC machine centres and window machines.Image

“We have removed the burden of design, tooling, set up and window simulation thermal testing for the energy performance rating; the only things we don’t do is actually ‘performance test’ the window, or make it,” continued Maddox. “Our high quality product is actually the most economical solution in the industry and these seminars give companies the chance to see it in action for themselves.”

Leitz Tooling UK is the UK’s largest supplier of tooling to British industry. The Bristol seminar will take place at the Didac Training Centre in Bristol on 12th June 2013. Email salesuk@leitz.org to book your place. For more information on Leitz ThermoTech Window System contact Brian Maddox on bmaddox@leitz.org. Seminar places are charged at £10 per person, which will be donated to local charities.
