UNILIN insulated Roof Panels help meet revised Part L requirements

In line with revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations announced in July 2013, developers and specifiers are turning to UNILIN Structural Insulated Roof Panels for a fast track and reliable roofing solution compliant with the more stringent legislations.

Available in varied thicknesses of insulation, UNILIN Structural Insulated Roof Panels can deliver a U-value in line with the 0.11 W/m2K for new domestic builds set out under the new regulations.

With the high-grade precision offered by one of the most advanced panel manufacturing factories in Europe, UNILIN panels allow tight tolerances to be achieved, reducing margins of error seen in traditional methods of roofing construction and thus improving air tightness. Coupled with the sandwich design of the panels that incorporate a PIR foam layer, the roofing system is engineered to offer maximum thermal insulation and to reduce construction material normally required by traditional systems.

Complying with all current European quality control and thermal performance standards, the BBA certified panels can be rapidly installed, sealing together to create an energy efficient roof that is water, air and wind tight.
