Bailey Streetscene is pleased to announce the launch of the award winning Cado Corpus series of seats and benches.
The Cado Corpus is part of an extensive collection of modular urban furniture recently introduced by Bailey Streetscene.
Created in collaboration with designer Max Wehberg, this outdoor seating system is designed to work in various configurations.
The Cado Corpus collection has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot design award by an international jury of experts for outstanding design.
It was chosen not only for its exceptional design quality but also its use of FSC certified timbers. (Further details here)
The beauty of the Cado Corpus system is its minimalist approach. Timber slats run from the front to back continuously as if ‘draped’ over the steel sub frame. This gives the seating an elegant and contemporary style, whilst allowing it to be robust enough for high use public spaces.
The collection has been designed with numerous full or partial back rest options which can be configured as stand alone or in continuous runs. This allows a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in creating seated areas for public spaces.
The standard single unit length is 3m which is available as a backless bench, a partial left or right sided back or seat with full back.
This combination of subtle, elegant design and real world functionality marks the Cado Corpus range as ideally suited to a broad scope of external works schemes including, education, retail, healthcare and public realm projects.
