Laagen Cabin – Where design meets nature
Surrounded by uninterrupted Norwegian cultural landscape, Laagen is a secluded, exceptionally designed getaway. Situated just an hour outside of Oslo next to the Numedalslågen riverbank, Lundhs Real Stone is delighted to have provided the kitchen worktops for the Laagen cabins; where Scandinavian design and modern architecture are combined with the serene stillness and beauty of nature.
Framed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows that offer panoramic views of the river and forest, the Laagen cabin kitchen offers the perfect area for cooking whilst enjoying the scenery. The dark 100% natural Lundhs Emerald worktop draws the eye and acts as a stunning focal point in the open space. As daylight streams through the windows, the feldspar crystals in the natural stone surface glisten in the sun, connecting the interior with the surrounding nature.
Complemented by sleek black cabinetry and chrome finishes, the Lundhs Emerald kitchen work surface brings a natural element to the design scheme. The darkest in the Lundhs Real Stone collection, Lundhs Emerald is the visual embodiment of how natural light and materials can combine to produce an exquisite visual masterpiece.
Boasting from high heat, water, scratch, UV and stain resistance, Lundhs Emerald is extremely easy to maintain. Made from one of the most unique and strongest materials in the world, Larvikite, Lundhs Emerald is a truly one-of-a-kind piece. With glints of sumptuous silvery blue crystals, the 100% natural stone will act as a decorative touch to the kitchen, delivering a sense of refined sophistication and style.
The Laagen cabins offer a retreat of serene stillness. The site was founded on uncompromising design principles that include using Norwegian materials and excellent craftsmanship, making Lundhs Real Stone the ideal partner.
A complex blend of beautiful feldspar crystals, each piece of rock from Lundhs is completely unique with its own individual fingerprint. The product of minerals melting and mixing under extreme heat millions of years ago, Norway is the only place in the world where Larvikite can be found.
