What is Hybrid VRF?
Hybrid VRF is an air conditioning system for large scale applications. It’s a 2-pipe heat recovery VRF with water between the Hybrid Brand Controller (HBC) and indoor units,
HVRF is a quick, easy and flexible to design and install using the same control and network as VRF systems. The decentralised system means phased installation is possible with the same high levels of seasonal efficiency expected with VRF.
Hybrid VRF provides comfortable and stable air temperature control without refrigerant in occupied spaces; removing the need for leak detection.
City Multi HVRF
City Multi Hybrid VRF is a 2-pipe heat recovery VRF with water between the Hybrid Branch Controller (HBC) and indoor units. You can install and design it as VRF whilst enjoying the features of a Chiller system.
Mitsubishi Electric’s HVRF range now includes both horizontal and vertical HBC controllers allowing for for greater freedom and flexibility in system design and installation.
HVRF can be used to heat and cool a range of commercial buildings, including offices, schools, hotels, shopping centres and other commercial premises.
HVRF Outdoor
City Multi HVRF outdoor units deliver optimum comfort and efficiency using an innovative combination of unique 2-pipe refrigeration and water. They provide a complete modern solution for offices, hotels, medical centres, schools, high rise buildings, shopping centres and other commercial buildings.
HVRF Indoor
Using water based fan coils, the HVRF Indoor Units are available in ducted, cassette and floor mount chassis. They are based on Mitsubishi Electric VRF indoor units.
HBC Controllers HVRF
At the heart of the HVRF system is a HBC (Hybrid Branch Controller) box, which is connected to the outdoor unit via traditional refrigerant piping. Between the HBC box and the indoor fan coils, the system uses water piping but still offers high sensible cooling and stable room temperatures for maximum comfort.
