This new build headquarters and manufacturing and technology centre for luxury British watchmaker Bremont, is built in the heart of the Chilterns within the grounds of a private estate.

Bremont’s vision for its new HQ was to reinvigorate the historic British industry of bespoke watchmaking, whilst combining tradition with state-of-the-art technology and facilities in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.

The building design was inspired by the Bremont principles of: Aviation, Engineering, and Adventure and two single span spaces accommodate manufacturing and office facilities with a link building between.

The Wing is awarded BREEAM very good rating for sustainability and the project was nominated in the BDA’s 2023 Brick Awards.

PROJECT DETAILS

Project name: Bremont Watches Manufacturing & Technology Centre ‘The Wing’

Project size: A state-of-the-art 35,000sq. ft. mechanical watch manufacturing facility featuring strong eco-credentials with a central
aim to invigorate a historic British Industry

Project scope: This luxury brand building needed to mirror the beauty of the watches made here, coupled with strong environmental
credentials. The selection of brickwork encompassed beauty and function, and 10,000 bespoke handmade bricks were made by Michelmersh Bricks for the project.

Project details: Working with masonry contractors Moore Masonry, EcoRight supplied its environmentally sound hydraulic lime mortar in Oxford Brown to complement the brickwork and provide the eco-credentials that lime offers. overall aesthetic.
