BuildingConfidence Gold strengthens supplier assurance in construction

Accreditation places OryxAlign on assurance frameworks used by tier one contractors

Built environment and construction-focused technology service provider OryxAlign has achieved BuildingConfidence Gold accreditation from Achilles, marking a change in how the company can engage with organisations operating under formal supplier assurance frameworks. The accreditation was formally awarded on January seventh and applies immediately across OryxAlign’s UK operations.

BuildingConfidence Gold is used by tier one contractors to assess supplier suitability beyond basic pre-qualification, particularly in areas linked to governance, compliance and operational maturity. For suppliers, meeting this standard can reduce onboarding friction and enable earlier engagement with procurement teams that require external assurance as part of their supplier selection process.

By securing Gold status, OryxAlign is now pre-qualified to work with more than two hundred construction organisations that use the Achilles platform to manage supplier risk. While the accreditation is not always a mandatory requirement, it is increasingly treated as a strong preference by major contractors seeking confidence in the organisations they work with across complex construction programmes.

Carl Henriksen, Founder and CEO of OryxAlign, said:

“Across the built environment and construction sector, assurance is becoming a core part of everyday procurement rather than a parallel exercise. For organisations delivering critical network services, BuildingConfidence Gold provides a recognised reference point for supplier assurance, giving procurement teams greater visibility of risk and confidence that supporting systems meet expected standards ahead of delivery.”

The move from Silver to Gold accreditation was driven by the requirements of certain main contractors, particularly at tier one level, where supplier assurance expectations have become more structured and more visible. Gold status enables OryxAlign to engage more efficiently with these organisations while continuing to support work across the wider construction supply chain.

BuildingConfidence Gold is primarily focused on the construction sector, although many of the organisations that use the framework operate internationally. As a result, the accreditation supports OryxAlign’s UK activity while aligning with the expectations of contractors delivering projects across multiple regions.
